A PhD holder from Georges Washington University, is Deputy Director for Research and Technology Investments at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA's primary center for scientific research.

On the occasion of her visit to IMT Mines Albi, Dr. Johnson will explain her career, from Georges Washington University to NASA, and the White House. She will introduce the Goddard Space Flight Center and outline her background and experience as a woman scientist.
