This Franco-Japanese seminar brings together professors and students from IMT Mines Albi and Tohoku University in Sendai, IMT Mines Albi partner university.

Institut Clément Ader-Albi UMR CNRS 5312, RAPSODEE UMR CNRS 5302 and Japanese laboratories IMRAM (Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials) and IMR (Institute for Materials Research) will give presentations and discussions on the following topics:

• functional materials powders, polymers and metal alloys processing
• additive manufacturing
• mechanical behavior of materials
• thermochemical conversion

This seminar aims to identify and establish partnership projects between involved research laboratories to strengthen the links between the two institutions. It is intended to be organized every two years, alternately at IMT Mines Albi and Tohoku University.
