Signature of the performances and objectives contract of Institut Mines-Télécom ( IMT)

Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister of State, attached to the Minister of Economy and Finance, Bruno Lemaire, signed on october 23rd 2018 the performances and objectives contract that binds the IMT's graduates schools of engineering under administrative supervision of the minstry of Economy and Finance, to the State for the period of 2018-2022.

This signature took place in presence of Philippe Jamet, CEO of IMT and of Claude Imauven, Chairman of the IMT Management Board.

This contract heads IMT and its 8 graduates schools towards major evolutions and innovations of our industrial companies and services, to take opportunities in digital, energy, environmental and organizational conversion. On this period of 5 years, the IMT's graduate schools will meet with a 20% growth of trained students, achieving 15 600 manager or engineer students, but also on master or PhD programs.

Already leader in work-study programs, they will increase this training program, in accordance with the governmental will to develop traning for all. 

The research activity, already important and oriented to challenges of the future, will grow and reach an external financing part for research at 41% in 2022. The level of in Reaserch and Innovation will increased by 15%.
