Philippe Baptiste visits the Tarn region to meet with stakeholders in higher education and research
IMT Mines Albi welcomed Philippe Baptiste, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Space, during an official visit to the Tarn region. This visit illustrates the recognition of IMT Mines Albi's central role in the development of higher education, research, and innovation in the heart of the Occitanie region. Through its centers of research excellence and its engineering programs focused on industrial and energy transitions, the school confirms its position as a key player in the region and in the Institut Mines-Télécom network.

This meeting gave Mr. Philippe Baptiste the opportunity to discover the research centers at IMT Mines Albi and their recognized expertise in industrial engineering, materials, energy, and ecological transition. Accompanied by the school's management and scientific directors, Mr. Baptiste spoke with IMT Mines Albi's research teams, doctoral students, and engineering students about the challenges of training, innovation, and technology transfer in the service of industry and local communities.
