Exception’Elles is a program that encourages entrepreneurship among female engineering students and promotes female leadership. It was launched in 2021 by the IMT Mines Alès and IMT Mines Albi incubators in response to the lack of female representation in entrepreneurship and senior management. The program aims to anticipate the psychological barriers that women face when starting a business. It has been observed that, after completing an entrepreneurial studies program, young women find it more difficult than men to take the plunge and start a business.
The retreat, led by three personal development coaches, featured a number of workshops on topics such as the tree of life, ikigai, yoga, flamenco, and positive impact coaching. All of these activities helped the future entrepreneurs discover their true selves and refocus on their life goals.
