Destination: Tabout Aït Ouaki, in the heart of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains

On February 6, the humanitarian convoy set out for Tabout Aït Ouaki, a remote village located in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. This hard-to-reach area faces significant needs in terms of infrastructure, healthcare, education, and access to essential resources.

The Humanitarian Caravan takes a comprehensive and coordinated approach across five complementary areas to address the priority needs of local communities:

  • Distribution of essential food baskets
  • Drilling a well for drinking water to ensure sustainable access to water
  • Distribution of warm clothing suitable for the region’s climate
  • Renovation of an educational facility to support access to education
  • Organization of a multidisciplinary medical outreach team offering free care to residents

Through this humanitarian mission, students at IMT Mines Albi are putting their skills, organizational abilities, and dedication to work on a project with a significant human impact. This initiative demonstrates the ability of future engineers to get involved in community service projects that go beyond their academic and technical training.

The success of this humanitarian effort depends largely on the financial support and generosity of our donors. Every contribution helps fund our on-the-ground initiatives and provide tangible assistance to the people of Tabout Aït Ouaki. Every donation counts and directly contributes to the impact of this humanitarian mission.

IMT Mines Albi commends its students’ dedication and their involvement in this meaningful initiative, which embodies the human and social values championed by the school.
