ERASMUS+, the assurance of international partnerships

Erasmus+ is the European Union's programme for education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The programme aims to give students and young people under 30 years old the opportunity to spend time abroad for enhancing their skills and increasing their employability. The ERASMUS+ programme helps organisations including higher education institutions to work in the frame of international partnerships and share innovative practices in the fields of research, education, training and youth.

IMT Mines Albi, an international campus

The objective of the ERASMUS+ Charter is to set the framework that allows our engineering students to go on ERASMUS exchanges and our school to receive students on academic mobility. It also facilitates mobility for professors, rresearchers and administrative staff.

The ERASMUS+ Charter is also a guarantee of the quality of both IMT Mines Albi's links with partner institutions and campus internationalization.

The renewal of this Charter opens up many new horizons for IMT Mines Albi and its students:

  • international mobility
  • training of international students and internationalization of the campus
  • cooperation partnerships between countries to develop innovative educational projects
  • exchanges and good practices
  • inclusion of audiences less inclined to travel
  • strengthening the links between higher education and businesses
  • promotion of the respect for the environment and civic engagement

IMT Mines Albi is fully in line with the dematerialization process highly recommended by ERASMUS+: ERASMUS without paper. The wish of the European Commission is to encourage higher education institutions participating in the Erasmus+ program to move towards a complete digitization process.

The school's engineering students will soon be given a European student card. They already beenefit of the ERASMUS+ mobile application which facilitates the Erasmus+ mobility by accompanying young people in the procedure to access mobility.
